Sweet Goodmorning's

Along your body's side
I lay in peace
and when the sun did arise
I merely pretended I had helped you to sleep.

Here's a very short, short for Bluebell Books this week, and a little poem for Dverse- hope you enjoy it :)

  1. hmmm..still pondering if he's really sleeping...sounds very romantic on first read...but as you tagged it with "thriller" there could def. be some goose bump potential... nicely done

  4. That reminds me of all the times I laid with my wee daughter so she would go to sleep. Those times she really DID sleep because of me. :)

    Nice poem!!

  5. Very nice poem, even if it did become a bit chilling at the end. Was he sleeping next to a corpse? Oh I do hope not, now I won't be able to sleep tonight! LOL!
